Avoid this.
While this case is fairly sturdy, it’s black insides are dyed with a substance that rubs off all over the (formerly) white Kindle!

I like the cover with one reservation. There should be a clip to hold the bottom of the kindle in the case.

Great buy and does the job!
The cover and light were a great buy at the price I paid and the cover is much better than the one that came with the Kindle.

I like the cover and it’s not a problem getting the kindle in and out, however I tend to have it out more than in.

Great Kindle 1 case
I couldn’t stand the original case the Kindle 1 came with because that little tab in the back did not do a good job of holding in the Kindle.

I purchased the Travel package for my Kindle. I love my Kindle. The light is great. I really do like the leather case, not sure if real leather.

Love this cover
The cover is so much easier to use than the original. The best part is not having to struggle to turn on the Kindle. Both buttons are easily accessible.

Remember: You get what you pay for…
I wanted a simple to use, budget priced cover for my Kindle that would keep it secure and protected against wear and tear, and that’s what I got. Is the leather plush? No.

Hands Down Better Than the Original Cover
If you have a Kindle One and are thinking about upgrading the cover that came with the original, I would strongly recommend you buy this one.
