Good book for teens
I’d recommend this book for teens who are old enough to understand what is going on in Darfur but don’t want to read a book filled with political mumbo jumbo.

Disappointing
I was looking for a moving memoir along the lines of “A Long Way Gone” but this definitely wasn’t it.

Very readable
The subject of Darfur is deep and disturbing, but this author speaks simply and without the preaching I would have expected from such a close, first hand account.
