    Good lens for casual photographer…
This lens is decent for beginners and and casual photographers. It is a bit slow and loud when using auto focus but suits my needs.

    Great value
I have just gotten my rebel xt and this is my second lens. I really do think that image stabilization is all marketing.

    Great for the money!
I bought this lens to pair with a Pentax K200D. My experience with it over the past month has been fantastic. It’s worth the “long distance macro” alone.

    Great Value Perfect for hobbyist/beginner
Brings distant subjects in nicely in good light. Easy to blur background. Not a pro lens by any means but good enough to get started with.

    Decent Zoom Lens
This lens is fairly good for it’s low price tag. It has quite a bit of zoom range, which is the main reason I bought it. It is rather slow, but can generally get the job done.
