Keep yourself going all day long with the comfortable, sizeable JanSport Air Vital daypack. It has 1-1/2 main compartments with dual interior mesh pockets (featuring a keyper) and a pouch in front. It also includes an oversized V-Loft security pocket for quick access to your CD player and valuable items, and a cord port for easy access to your audio player. Other features include a mesh side water bottle pocket, and padded ergo haul loop on the top of the bag.
This daypack uses JanSport’s Airlift 1.1 system, which is built around Gelastic Gellycomb that contours to the body for reduced carrying stress and better comfort. Other Airlift 1.1 features include FloVent breathable windows, mesh grip underside, and cushioning where you need it most.

Sturdy, good for kids
My kids got these a couple of years ago (teenagers). They have held up great. No ripping or tearing, zippers still work.

Great daypack
I bought it on a sale in amazon about 6 months back and its great.
Pros
+ Ergonomic.
I’ve had this backpack for about 5 months now, and I still have a great opinion of it. It holds many books and folders… It can also accomodate my Inspiron laptop with a 15.4” screen. The backpack doesn’t have an included laptop sleeve, so I found a solution by buying the Sumdex Padded Large Laptop sleeve, which isn’t very expensive, but very protective and a perfect fit, and just putting the Laptop in the sleeve then putting the sleeve into my backpack. Even after doing so, I still had room for a couple of books. Keep in mind that this does make it a large backpack, slightly bulky, so if you aren’t in need of something with such a high capacity, then this might not be the backpack for you.
The backpack doesn’t have a lot of organization as far as dedicated slots for pencils, pens, etc… It just has a few smaller zippered openings. If you have a lot of stuff in them, you will be having to fumble around your things. I didn’t find this too troublesome overall, though.
The backpack is comfortable, and seems to be holding up pretty well against all the weight of my nursing books, etc…
I am happy with my purchase, as I always have been with Jansport purchases.

Durable, Comfortable, Perfect
I love this product! I bought this for a intensive hiking/camping trip and was able to fit all of our clothes and necessities in it.
Lots of pockets. Comfy straps. Great size. Perfect for school or weekend trips. It’s Jansport, so you know it’s durable (and has a lifetime warranty anyway). I got the Bokchoy Green and it’s lovely. I found it on Amazon during a sale for $25.67 with free shipping. Yay!
If the user is going to be carrying textbooks, then this may not be the best choice. Two months carrying 4 textbooks every schoolday, plus notebooks, resulted in a broken strap latch. This was never an issue with the old backpack (a different brand but unable to replace). Strap was fixable (sort of), and backpack otherwise has a good design and is comfortable.

Great bag with one minor flaw.
Jansport always delivers on the quality of their bags. The Air Vital is no exception. It holds my laptop and two large textbooks with ease.

College Student Approved
Had this JanSport bag for over a month now and haven’t had a single problem with it. As other’s have stated the straps are very comfortable and do help with weight relief.

JanSport Backpacks
I got this as a Birthday present for my lil sister. She totally loves it and it is very similiar to the one I used in college. My Sister uses hers in college now.
